SHERIDAN — Former Sheridan resident Maureen Meehan will be featured at the Los Angeles Festival of Books on Sunday.

Meehan will be promoting her latest nonfiction satire “60 Dates in Six Months (with a Broken Neck).” “60 Dates” is Meehan’s satirical rendition of her personal experience trying to date at age 58 in Orange County, California after losing her husband 10 years ago from a rare cancer.

Meehan is also the author of the Mary McIntosh legal thrillers, which are all set in Wyoming with backdrops of Jackson Hole and Sheridan. She has crafted six novels in this series. In addition, Meehan has written a cookbook with Maurita Redle Meehan entitled “The Ruth Redle Gourmet Cookbook.”
